Well, as one of my old mentors would say, "Now boys! Ve haf ourselves a case!"

Note that the K-wire that the cannulated screw goes over, is broken off within the scaphoid! It was put in a distal to proximal direction (note the distal head of the screw is larger than the proximal end).

At this moment, the head nurse comes in and asks, "How much longer will this case be?"
